Stories, events and life in general from Miss Kitty's point of view

Saturday

Finally my turn

Today was simple beautiful. Dad was cleaning the house and washing the tiles, when I decided to go out on the balcony. After seeing it was all clear and that there was more sun puddles to be had on the deck I ventured there. Dad kept an eye on my so I felt safe but I could not help be on special alert. After a gust of wind, causing leaves to be picked from the branches, tumbling down to the awaiting pile covering much of the backyard, it was especially those that had already fallen and were now stirred that caused me to be on alert.

Dad has access to a new camera, a small pocket digital that has been laying around his son’s room and was not being used, so now I get my picture taken a little more.

I have to focus on our fence line making sure there is no one trespassing.

Now back on the balcony the surveillance continues

because one has to keep an eye for intruders.

I even have to look over dad’s shoulder.

Sometimes it gets so busy all I do is turn my head
from one side to the other —

It can make you dizzy.

Time for a break and soak up some weaning autumn sunlight.

Now before you leave us, let me share with you
my next post. It is about dad and what he
has been up to these last months.

Here is a preview.

Dear Miss K,
It's so good to see a post about YOU!
We're glad you are getting out to enjoy the lovely fall weather. All those leaves blowing about can be a bit disconcerting when watching for danger! We're glad you are safe on the balcony under Dad's eye.
We are so happy that Dad took these pictures of you, looking as beautiful as always.
We will be looking forward to seeing Dad's new art.

Best regards from Pat and Zip and all the kitties

Greetings Christiane, Edith, Sparkle and Pat,

It is so nice to wake up this morning and see you that you have stopped by for a visit. I will return later this evening and reply to each of you, as well as visit.

Until then, all my best to you,
Ms K and dad

Hallo Miss Kitty

Greetings,

Just checking in and then it is back into the garden as it needs watering due to higher temperatures this weekend.

I noticed that Ginger Jasper asked about how to create an animated gif file and it looks like this would be a neat post to share with you in the very near future.

We are both so delighted by you all for visiting.

Warmest regards,
Ms K and dada

Love the animated photo and of course that digi camera going to waste in your son's room. Were I so lucky (grin). Can't wait to see Dad's paintings and collages. Stay safe, Miss Kitty.

Hello Miss Kitty and Dad Egmont! It sounds as though you had a wonderful fall day (even if you had to watch for intruders). We have missed you both, and are looking forward to your next post. Hugs to you, dear friends.

Hi Miss Kitty! Do you know my dear friend Pat McNally too? It is nice to meet you and I'm glad that you are taking good care of your papa. I will come by and visit you again. I am on the staff to my two wonderful cats, Captain Jack and Pantera; they send their greetings also. Do you purr in Spanish? Pienso que tienes mucha suerte porque tienes tu propio blog! Nos vemos!

Dear Teresa,

We are delighted to meet you and we see that you know our good on-line friend Pat. We personally cannot get enough of her stories about the farm and all the animals.

Wish you had your email visible so we could write you directly, so we are hoping you will see this response, which sadly is very late.
