Stories, events and life in general from Miss Kitty's point of view

The Leonardo of Silicon Valley

I am saddened by the loss of a great innovator and modern day Santa Clara's Leonardo da Vinci, Steve Jobs, who passed away this afternoon.

If you are an Apple product user you will know what I mean, because it was his vision that propelled us into the digital era and to experience things differently.

Thank you for stopping by.

It is a very sad day here at our home. My son works for Apple computers and I have been a Macintosh user since 1984. Even Ms K notices somethings is up as she is setting next to my son and keeping him company, something she normally does not do.

Warmest regards,
Ms Kitty and Egmont

This is very sad, we are keeping his family in our thoughts and purrayers.

Our TallSon has a Mackintosh and uses it everyday as he finishes up his training in digital animation this spring. His school recommended this platform, and he loves the computer.

RIP Steve Jobs

Take care
Alex

Hi, Miss Kitty,

This is my first visit and on such an occasion, too. That was an amazing video, we enjoyed it very much, being Mac users all along and appreciating his amazing foresight.

Julie says his philosophy underscores her passion. Me, I just think he was a really cool dude!

Hugs,
Tom & Julie

Greetings Team Tabby,

Now that a few days have passed, a better perspective is achieved. The items Steve created permitted us creative souls to express our own vision and though it was very hard to rationalize paying sometimes more than twice when compared to the PC, we did it for the peace-of-mind. After all, it was the cutting edge of technology . . .

Wishing you all the best,
ms K and Egmont

Greetings dear Pat,

Just yesterday I was thinking of what defines a generation and I thought about the question "Where were you when JFK died?" as being the pivotal moment that defined my generation.

There was also a world wide silence and gasp when we learned about John Lennon, but I think that when we ask "Where war you when Steve Jobs died?" it will have a far greater impact for the years to come because he did change our lives.

Thank you for stopping by and all our best to you and your family,
Ms K and Egmont

Dear Cats in the Wildwoods,

Thank you for visiting and yes we are doing alright. It has sadly been a struggle to keep up with blogging in general, mostly because dad has been seriously working on a book, developing a few blogs for others and trying to paint.

I keep nudging him, I guess I will have to push him.

Warmest regards,
Ms K and Egmont

Dear Alex,

Thank you for your visit.

We were surprised to learn that you are a rear person indeed for not having a single APple product. We would have thought at least an iPod for ones music.

Wishing you al the very best,
Ms K and Egmont

Greetings Tom and Julie,

We love having new visitors stopping by and introducing themselves and as you have mentioned, on a special post recognizing the genius of a great individual.

We just had a look at your sight and my dad feel in love with your book cover's image since this is the kind of work dad did when he was a commercial photographer. He felt it was neat that the image was mostly highlighted or all by just a candle, including the styling of the elements. Just beautiful.

Warmest regards,
Ms K and Egmont
