Stories, events and life in general from Miss Kitty's point of view

Thursday

My patch of green

With an increase in temperatures, Indian Summer has arrived full blast and in some areas of our state, records where being shattered. This means there will a few more sun puddle days in which to soak up the warmth, now I just need to figure out how to store the heat for when it is winter. In the meantime it's a trip down from the balcony, along the railing of the deck, along the birdbath and down a few more stairs to the lawn that dad actually needs to rake because it is covered in leaves.

My patch of green heaven

This blade smells pretty good, lets see how it tastes

Ah, so refreshing. Just have to make sure I chew it well
or I'll be throwing up dinner later

Please join us this coming Saturday for an important announcement. We promise you will not be disappointed.

After this coming weekend we will only be posting once or twice a week. The reason for this is that dad needs to get back to creating art and working on his three other blogs (see sidebar for links). Something he has not done most of the year, since he was in cardiovascular rehabilitation for almost five months to improve his heart condition. This way dad will also be able to visit you and comment as well.

What?! Your human wants to focus on HIS OWN projects! I have never heard of anything so ridiculous! Even if he is coming out of heart rehab. Do you realize that if other humans see this, they may get their own ideas to actually have a LIFE! Eeek!

Have fun today in the garden, Miss Kitty. I agree that you must chew slowly.

Can't wait for Saturday. I sure hope you tell your dad that he has to keep up your blog for you. We sure enjoy your musings. Now I'm off to visit Cory and family.

Miss Kitty, your dad takes truly wonderful photos. It's a pleasure to visit your blog and see them!

Tell your dad not to worry about posting only once or twice a week. Life gets in the way of blogging, and goodness knows, our human is coming unglued at work these days, with all the stress. Seriously.

So "blog without obligation" when and if you can, and most of all enjoy it. Don't let it become a burden.

*Kitty kisses* from all of us.

Hello Miss Kitty, we wish your dad much success with his artistic endeavours.

He may not be aware that many bloggers have a BWO (Blog Without Obligation) philosophy, check out the link on my sidebar it will explain everything :-)

Hi Miss Kitty~!!! You have such a fun yard to nom grass in. We're not even allowed out! SO UNFAIR! We're kind of bummed as we won't get to see what your B~I~G news is...mom may be out of it when she gets home. Thank you for your sweet email regarding mom's surgery. We will miss your lack of being here but will be happy to see when you ARE here!!!

Mmmm Miss Kitty, you are so gorgeous in the grass! It looks so fresh and yummy... We used to eat grass in Australia, but only a little, because we're not allowed outside. Now, we don't even have a garden! So Mummy is going to try to grow some catgrass for us!

Purrrs, Miss Kitty!
Your fur looks beautiful against the leaves and grass.
We live too close to a busy road to be allowed out, but Mom has gotten us pots of kitty grass in the past. But not so much any more because we knocked the pots off the windowsill and dragged the clumps of grass through the house making dirt everywhere. I heard Mom grumbling as she swept it up!

All of us kitties are glad your Dad is feeling well enough to get back to his art and blogging. Our Mom has a cold today so I am staying close by her side. I'm sure you were a great comfort to your Dad while he was sick. That's what cats do for their people.

We will be looking forward to your surprise on Saturday. Hope your Dad is reading those nice kitty stories to you!

Dear Miss Kitty
We cannot tell you how much we love to come and visit your posts and see the lovely photographs that your wonderful Dad takes of you. He is definitely an artist with the camera, and you are the purrfect subject.

We were sorry to hear that your Dad had not been well, but we will hold hope that this break has been what the doctor literally prescribed and he will be completely reinvigorated.

We look forward to your upcoming announcement.

Hallo Kitty
Alex

If you can figure out how to store heat, please let alla us kitties know how. That would be a neat trick.

Miss Kitty, you are lovely in the grass...and we thing yakking is highly under-rated. Go for it if the mood strikes!

Miss Kitty,
You have a lovely garden. Your pictures are beautiful and so are you!

Mama can only blog about once a week, sometimes twice. It's fine. We miss you but are always happy to see you when you can post. We hope your dad is doing well.

Thanks so much for coming to my Gotcha party and making it special. Looking forward to Saturday!
